The quality of PVC steel wire tubes is critical but in most cases there is a lack of corresponding testing tools and testing conditions. The following teaches you how to roughly identify the sense based on sight, smell, touch and so on.
1. Observe whether the lumen is regular and the wall thickness is uniform. The inner wall and outer edge of a good quality PVC steel tube are evenly distributed on a standard circular annular tube wall. Take a PVC steel wire tube with an inner diameter of 89 mm and a wall thickness of 7 mm as an example. The wall thickness of the poor quality wall can reach 7.5mm, and the thinnest part is only 5.5mm. Working under large pressure is easy to cause uneven pressure on the pipe wall, causing the PVC steel pipe to burst or deform and affect normal use.
2. Observe whether there are bubbles or other visible objects on the PVC steel tube wall that are colorless and transparent. The wall of the high quality PVC steel wire tube is crystal clear without any impurities. The color yellowing of the defective PVC steel wire tube may be caused by decomposition, aging or improper storage during the production process due to improper handling.
3. The high quality PVC steel wire pipe has no smell of any other petrochemical products except a little plastic smell. The inferior steel wire tube has a bad smell of pungent diesel, especially in the hot summer.
4. The inner and outer wall of high-quality PVC steel wire tube are smooth and feel good and the low quality tube is rough.
5. When measuring the wall thickness, the two ends of the PVC steel tube should be cut off to select the middle tube as the sample test to prevent some bad manufacturers from being thinner than the tube at the actual wall thickness.
6. Cut the wire of several centimeters at both ends of the PVC steel wire tube and repeatedly fold the steel wire to test the strength and toughness of the steel wire. If the poor quality steel wire is folded one or two times, it will break and the steel wire of high quality PVC steel wire tube needs special tools to cut off. The quality of the steel wire determines the quality of the entire pipe. The PVC steel wire tube which is caused by the steel wire is prone to irreversible deformation.
